A BOXWOOD FINGER CITRON BOX AND COVER

QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

LENGTH: 15CM

The shallow box and cover is carved in the form of a finger citrus issuing from a single leafy stalk. The boxwood is patinated to a deep caramel colour.
