QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The limestone is dimpled and highly porous with multiple perforations converging on a large central elliptical hole. The rock surface is highly glossy with deep pits and jagged perforations patinated to a lustrous dark grey colour. The rock comes with two Suzhou-type hongmu stands that allow it to be views vertically as well as horizontally.
