A ‘CHICKEN BONE’ JADE TOAD

17TH CENTURY
LENGTH: 8CM

The jade is realistically carved in the form of a recumbent toad. Its head is facing forward with arms and legs tucked under the body. The well-polished jade is creamy white in colour with mottled grey inclusions.
