The wristrest is carved from a large arched section of bamboo with irregular sides. The top is carved with a thick knotted tree trunk issuing heavily gnarled branches and round clusters of needles, in a style reminiscent of Wu Zhifan. The wristrest is well patinated to a warm caramel tone.
