A LACQUERED BURLWOOD SCROLLPOT

17TH TO 18TH CENTURY

HEIGHT: 28.6CM

The scrollpot is naturally formed from a hollowed section of a heavily gnarled burlwood tree trunk. Its surface is covered with knots and nodes. The wood is patinated to a dark brown tone.
