A CARVED BOXWOOD LIBATION CUP

QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

HEIGHT: 11.4CM

Imitating the shape of a rhinoceros horn carving, the tapered libation cup is decorated with fruiting finger citron branches forming the handle, and lush leaves wrapping around the entire vessel and folding into its interior well.
