A YELLOW JADE MYTHICAL BEAST

The carver has followed the natural form of the pebble to depict a recumbent mythical beast with furrowed brows and a split tail curled around the length of its body. The yellow jade is slightly greenish in tone, with traces of russet beneath the glossy finish.
