Of cylindrical form resting on four ruyi-shaped feet, the white brushpot is carved in low relief with a mountainous landscape scene of an immortal flanked by an attendant carrying ruyi sprigs and a deer beneath a large pine tree. The fine white jade material is polished to a glossy finish.
