AN IVORY WRISTREST

MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

LENGTH: 11.4CM

The ivory wristrest is carved in shallow relief in the form of a small bamboo section with a smaller sprig and its attendant leaves jutting from the side. The surface is of a warm even tone with natural age cracks.
