The mirror is mounted within a circular zitan frame which is
embellished with a band of stained ivory scrolls and inlaid
ruyi-shaped conch shell and amber-inlaid flowers. The silver
wire-inlaid handle is secured with an openwork gilt-bronze scrolling
dragon fitting.
The zitan is of a dark chocolate brown colour.
