QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
LENGTH: 9.8CM
The glossy yellow and caramel-toned agate is carved in the form of a stylised lotus leaf. The sides of the leaf are curled inward forming the shallow walls of the washer. A network of veining in shallow relief is issuing from a curled stem on the back of the washer. The washer rests on an 18th century zitan foliate openwork stand.
