Jin to Yuan Dynasty (1115-1368)

The waterpot is thinly potted and of squat drum shape with a sloping neck, tapering to a thin footring. The exterior is decorated with moulded vertical bands of rope with incised roundels above.
The waterpot is covered with a warm, translucent straw glaze.
