AN IMPERIAL CARVED IVORY VASE

QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

HEIGHT: 9.8CM

The slender vase is of tapered cylindrical section and carved in low relief with two chilong dragons intertwined among scrolling foliage. The everted rim is enhanced with a narrow keyfret design and the flared foot with two banded rings.
