A ROCK CRYSTAL ‘LINGZHI’ VASE GROUP

QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

HEIGHT: 12.2CM

The vase is of flattened baluster shape, worked with a flying bat in relief on each side and flanked by a pair of scroll handles. The exterior is incised and worked in high relief with nine lingzhi heads including a large hollowed fungus set on one side of the vase. The transparent crystal is almost free of inclusions.
