QING DYNASTY, 17-18TH CENTURY, SIX-CHARACTER XUANDE MARK
DIAMETER (ACROSS HANDLES): 10CM
The censer is of compressed globular form with a flared mouth and rests on a shallow straight foot. The surface is covered overall with a rich reddish-brown patina and enhanced with a gilt wave pattern along the rim. A six-character ‘Da Ming Xuande Nianzhi’ 大明宣德年製 mark is cast in relief on the base.
