AN OPAQUE GREEN PEKING GLASS WATERPOT

QING DYNASTY, FOUR-CHARACTER YONGZHENG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1722-1735)

DIAMETER: 8.3CM

The waterpot is of compressed globular form, rising from a flat base to a levelled rim. The glass is of an opaque milky-green tone simulating jade. The base is with a wheel-cut four-character ‘Yongzheng nianzhi’ 雍正年製 reign mark within a double-square cartouche.
